Frequently Asked Questions

Can I fly after cosmetic treatment?

It depends on the length of your flight. Some procedures may cause temporary swelling or bruising, which can be affected by air travel. Generally, we recommend booking your treatment at least 2 weeks prior to any long-haul flights. Kacey will provide specific advice based on your treatment and travel plans.

I’m on antibiotics – can I still have my treatment?

Generally, no. We do not want to risk any infection or extra inflammation on your body while you are flighting an infection or illness. However, this will depend on the reason for the antibiotics, the type prescribed, and your overall health. It’s important to let Kacey know about all medications you’re taking so she can advise whether treatment is suitable or should be delayed.

How long before a special event should I have treatment done?

Results and recovery times vary depending on the treatment and your individual response. Some people may experience temporary swelling, redness or bruising. It’s best to plan your treatment at least 4 weeks prior to any important occasion and discuss timing with Kacey during your consultation.
